Air travel is awesome, but one of the things that slows it down is that the damn plane has to land eventually and that can add hours and hours to the overall trip and it’s not the most fuel-efficient way to do it. In the future, you could take a passenger plane so far, land on a perpetually aloft airport in the sky, swap planes in mid-air and keep going.

Dark Tower is back on... as a series on HBO

The original, incredibly ambitious plan for the live action Dark Tower adaptation was to include three films and a TV series to bridge the gaps, but that turned out to be too expensive for Universal. Speaking with MTV today, producer Brian Grazer said that it’s now one movie and an HBO TV series, which honestly sounds like a pretty good deal.
